Bookmark Buddy 3.6.5 by Edward Leigh is the latest released version of this program for Windows. It is delivered on a shareware basis. The developer provides a downloadable trial version directly from their website. We can download, install, and evaluate it free of charge for a 30-day period without any previous registration. Bookmark Buddy gives us the opportunity to use its features in order to keep our bookmarks well organized, handy, and visible. We can add manually any bookmark, and select a category and subcategory. Alternatively, it is possible to import our bookmark collection from the following sources: Internet Explorer Favorites, Firefox, Netscape, Opera Hotlist, AOL, MSN favorites, Safari Bookmarks, Yahoo! Bookmarks, Start Menu, and many more. We can select the destination, sort them alphabetically, set an initial bookmark rating, create custom exports, use drag&drop for opening or copying a bookmark, de-duplicate a bookmark list, update a web address, set up our preferences, etc. It is very easy to open any bookmark in our default browser from the user’s interface. |
